 2020 Midwest Human Services is a company that strives to serve the people of our region by providing them with expert human services such as interpretation, special transportation, and job search.  MHS is currently looking for interpreters who are professionals willing to work on an "on call" basis and are able to accurately transmit conversations between two parties of different languages such as Engish to Spanish, Amharic, Oromo, Mandarin, Nepalese, Hmong, Somali, and Hindi. Interpreters will most likely be called to hospitals in the Twin Cities Metro area. 

 

Job Requirements Requirements:

• Be able to speak, write, and read both English and the language that you interpret. 

• Be registered in the Minnesota Health Interpreters roster.

• Be able to express a professional demeanor and dress code.

• Be able to speak clearly and respectfully.

• Be able to keep medical privacy laws.

• Be able to arrive on time at the work site. 

• Be able to fill out all necessary forms and report to our company as soon as possible.

• Be able to pass the language proficiency and medical terminology exams.
